The Effectiveness Test of Fusarium cf. solani as Bioinsecticide for Control of Brown Planthopper and Increasing Rice Productivity

The entomopathogenic fungus Fusarium cf. solani can be used to control brown planthopper. study aim obtain the frequency of spraying against planthopper at different altitudes. Experiment by planting IR 64 seedlings on plots 4 m x m, spacing 25 cm cm, 10 tons compost/ha, and 100 % N, P, K. experiment was carried out with a 2 factors RCBD. Factor I is land altitude < above sea level (P1), – 500 (P2), > (P3). II bioinsecticide consisting no (F0), one time (F1); twice (F2). Each treatment made replications. Fungal concentration 106 spores/ml dose 300 L bioinsecticide/ha. variables measured were intensity attack, pest population; yield rice. Rice yields included number productive tillers, fresh plant weight, dry percentage grain content, soil productivity. data analyzed F test continued Duncan's 95 confidence level. results showed that had effect populations, damage, production rice yields. Altitude affects crop as well parameters However, there interaction between height experimental site parameters.
